This is the newest model of our head unit. It produces heat at 48,000 BTU and is upgraded to have no pilot light to worry about. It will directly light up without a pilot light and makes for a faster and more consistent ignition. This is a great upgrade for those with the older model heaters that still use the pilot light and only produce 40,000 BTU. This new unit will give you an overall 8000 BTU increase in heat emission.
 
Please keep in mind, while this model is universal to the HSS model heaters, you will still need to select the correct pole diameter that matches your model heater. Please make sure to select carefully and correctly to ensure the right part is shipped.
